North-western Lights by Mossblaser North-western Lights by Mossblaser
This is something I quickly whipped up in Inkscape while playing around. Enjoy!

(And the name, btw, is simply because I live in the north-west of England and couldn't think of any other title really...)

Very nice simplistic, minimalistic wallpaper. Good use of toning for the various shades of blue. Thank you!

Did you use a script to do such a beautilful abstract? Please tell me! :)

Thanks ;)

It wasn't a script as such, just a built-in tool in Inkscape: "Create Tiled Clones" -- simply make a blue rectangle with a radial gradient at about 50% opacity, use the Tiled Clones tool to make lots of horizontal duplications, slightly altering opacity, height, position and angle (by about 1.5 degrees max). Finally I added an overlay to add a bit of depth and contrast in GIMP.
